Plans and Feature Availability

Understand which features are available in each plan and what happens when you reach a plan limit.

Some Gixtra features depend on your plan.

Because plans may change over time, this article should be the central place for plan-related help. Other help articles should say "depending on your plan" and link here instead of repeating plan details everywhere.

Why features differ by plan

Different bands need different levels of organization.

A small band may only need one booker and basic gig planning. A larger wedding band, Top 40 band, or booking-heavy project may need multiple bookers, subs, individual fees, contracts, calendar integration, and more detailed attachments.

Newcomer plan

The Newcomer plan is for bands that need the core gig planning workflow.

Currently, it includes:

  • Create gigs
  • Manage gigs
  • One booker
  • Basic member and gig management
  • Setlist attachment
  • Itinerary attachment

Currently, it does not include:

  • Multiple bookers
  • Calendar synchronization
  • Sub role
  • Technician role
  • Individual fees
  • Travel expenses
  • Additional attachments such as tech rider and miscellaneous attachments

Local Hero plan

The Local Hero plan adds more planning support for active bands.

Currently, it adds:

  • Calendar integration
  • Additional attachments, such as a tech rider attachment and another miscellaneous attachment
  • Travel expenses

Rock Star plan

The Rock Star plan is for larger or more complex band setups.

Currently, it adds:

  • Sub role
  • Individual fees for musicians
  • Booking contract option

With the booking contract option, musicians can be required to accept a booking contract when they accept a gig. This can be useful when the band needs clearer agreement for legal or organizational reasons.

The booking contract option can be turned off if you do not need it.

What happens when you reach a plan limit?

If your band reaches a plan limit, Gixtra does not let you add more of that limited item.

For example, if your plan allows only one booker, you cannot add another booker unless you upgrade to a plan that includes more bookers.
